Zeynep graduated from Galatasaray University Faculty of Law in 2007, and then she received an LL.M degree with honors from the University of Lausanne (Switzerland) in 2008 and she is still a Ph.D candidate at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland). She was admitted to Istanbul Bar in 2009.
In addition to the above, Zeynep is also a Turkish mediator. She has written an academic article on mediation and she has participated in a conference on mediation as organizer and speaker. Ms Tuncer has also other academic articles already and to be published.
Zeynep has 9 years of experience, with a particular focus on energy, M&A, finance, banking, corporate and competition law. Ms Tuncer also worked as Vice-Legal Officer in one of the biggest Turkish companies. Within this scope, Ms Tuncer took a leading role in advising and coordinating all legal aspects of cross-border and local strategic business transactions in various sectors.
Her certifications include Mandatory Mediation in Labor Law, Istanbul Aydin University; Basic Training on Expertness, Istanbul Aydin University; Model Training of Trainer, Program prepared by both the Department of Mediation and the Council of Europe; General Mediation Training, Istanbul Aydin University; Finance Law, TÜRAVAK; Practical Competition Law, Istanbul Bilgi University, Competition Law and Policy Research Center; uditor, ISO 9001:2008, KALDER Türkiye Kalite Derneği; Sworn Translator (both in French and English languages) – 17th Notary Public of Beyoğlu and 28th Notary Public of Beşiktaş.
